Part fixed exhibition, part travelling show, this is an exhibition about an exhibition. Designed to showcase Scottish Architects involvement in prestigious Venice Biennale visual arts festival, Scotland + Venice comprises 4 mobile exhibition towers covering previous exhibitions over 10 years plus an additional exhibition featuring three lectern units designed to be flat packed and to travel to different venues and to engage visitors with a discussion covering the topics explored in the most recent show. Designed in partnership with graphic designers Various the project was secured following a competitive pitch and was designed to a very tight budget necessitating an innovative approach using non-conventional materials.
